Sony vs Motorola on Twitter




Sony

Sony’s twitter is constantly being updated whether that is to promote or make a post about their phones etc. or whether they are interacting with people regarding technical issues, concerns or questions.
Their posts consist of images of their products, as well as videos about using their products. Coming up to events such as St Patrick’s day or Easter, they have competitions which you can enter, therefore they use these events as a way to promote and get people entering their competition to win a phone.

Similarly, this is the most successful post on twitter and Facebook. This is because the product is new technology, and I perceive it to be a really cool and up to date product which users have gotten really excited about, hence the number of likes and interest created not only on facebook, but twitter too.









Motorola
Motorola have just changed their twitter account/name so perhaps this is why they are performing so low in terms of posts that they make. They do post often, however like their Facebook, they do miss out on days upon days of no tweeting.  In terms of interacting with their users, they have no tweets doing so.

Just like their facebook, this is the most popular post that Motorola have made, however their twitter likes etc. are much lower than their Facebook. I think it is popular because they are giving a product away which makes users interact with the post, in the hope it generates more attention from the public.
